So many preachers, while preaching to sinners, they preach condemnation, believing that such preaching will lead people to Christ. They thought if they should preach condemnation, people will give their life to Christ.
The blble said, “He that believe on Jesus is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already” (John 3:18).
The unbeliever has been declared condemned already. To preach condemnation to a condemned person, believing that it will change them, is like painting what is already black with black because you want to change it. You cannot change black by painting it black, but by painting it with white.
If you want a condemned person to change, you preach good news.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Jesus took all men sins upon Himself and died, because of that, God is not angry with any one for thier sins, rather He is cancelling them.
Acts 13:38-39 (AMP)
So let it be clearly known and understood by you, brethren, that through this man forgiveness and removal of sins is now proclaime to you; And that through him everyone who believes [who acknowledges Jesus as his savior and devotes himself to him] is absolved (cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and freed by the law of Moses and given right standing with God.
Focus on what Christ has made you
You are special to God
You are peculiar
You are accepted and you are the beloved of God
You are a wonder
You are unblameable, holy and unreproveable in the sight of God.
[All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitiosly by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,
Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This wass to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forearance He had passed over and ignor formal sins without punnishment.
It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the new season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies him who has [true] faith in Jesus.
Mind blowing! God left the sins committed by all men unpunnished, “why?” Because He has already punnished the sins of all men on the body of Christ. It will be unjust for God to punnish you for the same sin that He had already punnish His son for, but God left the sins of all men unpunnished to demonstrate His justice. (Romans 3:24-26 NIV).
God is righteous and in His own righteousness, He put away man’s sins and make him righteous.
For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more do the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
There is a ministration (preaching) of condemnation.
Because you preach the message of condemnation and people start crying doesn’t guanranteed that they will probably change. But they will change if they hear the message of righteousness, righteousness by faith.
